It is so hard to believe our sweet Matthew is 6 months old already! WHERE does the time go? Here are a few fun little facts about our boy: he is sitting up by himself, has almost 1 1/2 "teefs", loves his vegis and I'm sure is looking forward to fruits next week, ADORES his big brother~watches him like a hawk and can pick up on his voice from another room, he is so happy in the morning and squeals and kicks with excitement when he hears me singing our little good morning song and then peeking over his crib. Isn't it is just the greatest that God allows each phase to be just as sweet, if not sweeter, than the one before?! Recently a friend shared this link with me. It's called The Gift of an Ordinary Day. I encourage you to watch it and be reminded and encouraged to cherish every single day~especially the ordinary ones. And be sure to have a tissue nearby~I definitely went into the ugly cry...but it was worth it.

Cereal time!

Matthew tried his first bowl of rice cereal yesterday and let me tell you, the boy can eat. He didn't make a funny face, didn't gag, didn't hesitate one bit. He took down every bite and probably would have had another bowl. He even grabbed my hand and the spoon trying to get more. I hope he will always be a good eater!

Potty Training

Well, we have entered the world of potty training.... William is doing pretty well with it, but I have a feeling it may take awhile before we are worry free in the big boy underwear. So we are taking in day by day, m&m by m&m, and prayer by prayer (for me--praying for patience!). I am so proud of him and actually got a little teary the first day I left him at school in big boy underwear. Just feels like a big milestone ~my precious little boy is getting so big and while it's so wonderful, it does make me a little sad!
