T-Ball and Dance Recitals

William and I had such a fun time in KY over the weekend!  We got to visit with friends and family, see Uncle B's newest restaurant, Drakes, and go to cousin Martha Lee's dance recital. William was quite a trooper through the whole thing. Even when he got wiggly, he still clapped at the end of each performance. :)   Aunt K and Uncle B got William this t-ball set in Lexington over the weekend...he was so excited about it and begged me to open it the whole way home.  Before we know it, we'll going to real t-ball games!  And I have a feeling as a mom of 2 boys, I'll be spending LOTS of time at the ballpark....

The Zoo!

As new members of Grassmere Zoo, we took our first family trip last weekend.  The Lucas family joined us and we had so much fun.  We especially loved the giraffes! I have a feeling we will be spending lots of time there this summer!

Bubble Machine

William got a bubble machine for his birthday that blows out hundreds of bubbles at once!  It's so much fun and has been a great outdoor activity lately--and that is pretty much all he wants to d0--to be "OUT-TIDE"!!

What we've been up to...

Well, it's been a month since my last update!  I don't know where the time has gone, but things have been busy around here...  this may explain!  

Our home addition is officially underway!  We are adding a family room, master bed/bath, and a deck.  Mark has also taken on making a new, and much improved, sidewalk in the front!  So we will be living in lots of dirt, dust, and chaos for the next couple of months.  HOPEFULLY (and prayerfully!) everything will be finished by the time baby boy #2 arrives.  Our builder keeps reassuring us that it'll be done, so we'll see!  Regardless, we are very thankful and excited to be able to expand our home and stay in this wonderful neighborhood....and in the meantime, I am dreaming of sitting on our back deck, both boys sleeping peacefully, and a big glass of red wine in hand!  :)
