Matthew's Baptism

Our sweet Matthew was baptized on December 6th.....what a special and memorable day!  He wore the beautiful gown that my mother made by hand when William was baptized-she even has both of their monograms embroidered on the slip.  We were so thankful to have almost ALL of our family in town to celebrate with us, but mostly so thankful for the promise  and trust we have in our Savior as we claim Matthew for Him.   

Matthew's face was PRICELESS here.  I wish the picture was better so you could see!  He puckered out his bottom lip so far when that water sprinkled his little head.  So funny.

Here are a few highlights from Christmas.  We had so much fun-first in Lexington and then in Augusta with Mark's family!

Catch up!

Okay, I have taken a major hiatus from blogging.... and I have to admit, it's been a lot easier to keep up with facebook than the blog!  But here I am, trying to play catch up because I know not all of you are on facebook (ahem, our parents!).   So I'll just re-cap by saying that things are just well, wonderful!  William is getting so big and seems to be growing up so fast (which makes me sad though!).  He is now sleeping in his big boy bed and loves it.  He gets all snuggled in with his blankets and stuffed animal friends and books and is happy as can be.  In the beginning he would hop out of bed to play during naptimes, but now he stays put. And in the mornings he just stays in, playing with his toys in bed until we go in there.  It's great!  And sweet Matthew is such a pumpkin!!!  He is such a roly poly snuggle bug. :)  He is so laid back and happy all the time.  He rolls around all over the place and loves to be standing up when you hold him.  And just like his big brother, he is becoming quite the snoozer,  taking good long naps and sleeping until 8 or 8:30 each morning... and of course we love that!  But mostly, we are just so incredibly thankful for these 2 precious boys.  God is so good.

3 months!

Time is flying and our sweet Matthew is already 3 months old! We are starting to really get in the groove of things and are having so much fun watching him grow and learn new things everyday.  He has been sleeping through the night like a champ, eating like a piggie, cooing, laughing, squealing, and lighting up our lives!  He loves his paci and seeing his mommy and daddy in the mornings when we get him up~it's so cute to see him kick and smile with excitement!  He is such a precious boy and we love him so much...

What we've been up to...

It's been awhile since I've posted, so I thought I'd share a little bit of what we've been up to lately.  I feel like I'm just starting to come up for air now that Matthew is sleeping through the night and we are getting on more of a schedule.  We have been busy, but have really enjoyed this Fall, especially the amazing weather!  We've gone on LOTS of walks and play with friends outside as much as we can! These days are so precious and I am soaking up every minute...
