Well, the day has finally arrived... Dooley is going to get "tutored" tomorrow! We would have done this long ago, but he was originally supposed to be studded out (something he was really looking forward to), but those plans fell through and we decided to let him keep his man/alpha-hood. But now....things have changed or maybe I should say not changed. Dooley is 4 years old and still has the energy of a 4 month old puppy. We are under big renovations here at home and soon he will be losing his private little room to which he can retire if he's acting too wild (which is really more worrisome to me than to him), workers are all over the place making him so wound up, and with baby #2 arriving in just about a month, we are all praying that this little procedure will help to calm him down a notch (or 2 or 10). With no more "Dooley Room", we are going to have to get used to having him loose in the house with guests around....he is THE sweetest dog--his only flaw is that he wants to be petted at ALL times. If you move your hand from him even an inch he forces it back. Even though he drives me crazy sometimes, Dooley and I do have this in common--we love human touch--it's one of our primary love languages. So if you come by the house anytime soon, be sure to have some patience and extra TLC with our sweet Dooley. And then I'll put him out back on the new porch. :)

I just love this picture. I could not get him to keep his eyes open!

His first big change-becoming a big brother to William. Now he's got 2 more changes ahead....first the "tutoring" and then becoming 3rd in line to another baby brother! Poor Dooley....
