Camp Nakanawa

This is where I spent 8 summers of my life...Camp Nakanawa!  It is an all-girls camp in Crossville, TN.  There are no boys camp nearby-so it was 5 weeks each year with just girls-except for the big outing to the Cumberland County Playhouse or Occoee River where we'd hope to spot a cute boy or two.  :)  These were the best times of my life.  Camp is a place that truly shaped so much of my future and who I am.  Which is why it makes me so happy that my 2 nieces now go!  I love going back every summer to visit.  It's so comforting to get away, back to this special place that never changes.
